Our Africa project was created to discover, develop and introduce talented footballers to opportunities beyond their home markets.
THE LAGOS FOUNDATION
DIFA Academy and player development
The project included an International Football Assessment Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, known as DIFA Academy. Its original academy concept drew on the model of Rayo Vallecano in Spain, combining local development with international assessment and exposure.
Through this work, Droom Soccer has sought to identify and train players from across the African continent and connect them with football opportunities abroad.

The project has operated across South Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Togo, Ghana, Gambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Senegal and Cameroon.
